Video Creator Specialist

Job description

We’re seeking a talented and versatile Video Creator to bring RemoteBuilder’s mission and success stories to life through compelling visual content. You’ll be instrumental in developing engaging video assets that showcase our services, explain our unique process, and resonate with our target audience of homeowners and real estate professionals. Your work will play a key role in our marketing and brand storytelling efforts.

What you’ll do

1. Conceptualize, script, shoot (if applicable for realistic), and edit high-quality video content for various platforms (website, social media, advertisements, internal communications).
2. Create both realistic video content and engaging vector-based explainer videos that clearly articulate what RemoteBuilder is and how our process works.
3. Develop a consistent visual style and brand voice for all video productions.
4. Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and content teams to align video content with campaign objectives and brand messaging.
5. Manage all aspects of video production from pre-production (storyboarding, shot lists) to post-production (editing, motion graphics, sound design).
6. Incorporate client testimonials, project showcases, and team interviews into engaging video narratives.
7. Optimize video content for different platforms and audience engagement.
8. Stay up-to-date with current video trends, technologies, and best practices.

What we’re looking for:

1. Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in video production, including shooting, editing, and motion graphics, preferably with a portfolio showcasing diverse video styles, including both realistic footage and animated explainer videos.
2. Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics/animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Illustrator). Familiarity with camera equipment and lighting techniques for realistic content.
3. Creativity: Strong storytelling abilities with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and detail. Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging video narratives for both realistic and animated formats.
4. Self-Starter: Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
5. Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interpret creative briefs.

Bonus Points:

Experience in real estate or home improvement content creation, advanced animation skills, or experience with live-streaming production.
